Giving back is a top priority for Lan Chung, owner of Fighting Eel. Coming from very humble beginnings has taught her to value the resilience and strength of the human spirit. Nothing she earned came easy, especially building a brand from the ground up in a place that downplayed the world of fashion. 

"I've always strived for more in my life and worked hard to get it. I started working at 14 years old and haven't stopped since. Yes, the struggles, disappointments and failures came, but so did amazing opportunities, accomplishments and relationships. I am grateful for it all. When we give back, it's so that other people, nonprofits and institutions can also have more. More hope, more support and more power to change their lives and the world."
